Wong Yee Pianist

Master's degree from Manhattan School of Music, New York, USA WONG Yee began studying piano at the age of 6 and had the privilege of learning from Professor Jin Zhang at the Central Conservatory of Music and Professor Shu Yang at the China Conservatory of Music. She graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Musicology and from the Manhattan School of Music (New York) with a Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano. She participated in Master Classes and concerts with Professor Kathryn Wright and Professor Louis Stewart at Boston University. She also joined the MSM Conor Nelson Flute Master Class, the MSM Helen Yorke Accompanying Master Class, and the Pascual Martinez-Forteza Clarinet Master Class. Since starting her career, she has performed in numerous concerts, been invited as an accompanist by many musicians, and held several chamber music recitals. She won second and first prizes in the International Chinese Arts Festivals held in Korea and Taiwan. She studied under Professor John Forconi at the Manhattan School of Music in the United States and worked with Linda Chesis, Marya Martin, Paul Cohen, Curtis Marcomber, and others as a studio pianist. After graduation, she worked at the Manhattan School of Music as a staff pianist before returning to China to join Houde Academy as Chair of the Art Department.
